The shuttle is almost here. The exchange house is cleaned, towels and beddings are washed. We have looked around for left belongings.
My dear friend left this morning and I cried. Not just because I will miss her terribly but because this trip is over. I planned it for so long and now, over and done with.
But really. There should be no crying. I met all of my Americans. With mutual will, a bit of planning and some giving and taking we managed. To meet again. To create new memories, with the new people in our lives.
Thank you Illinois crew for a fantastic welcome to the US. The best start a trip could ever have.
Thank you Massachusetts for a wonderful bbq, dinner, taking time off from everything else and long missed hugs and talks. So wish we had stayed longer.
Thank you California for once again travelling far.
Thank you Queens for making time for us.
Thank you Korea for always finding a way to come to Sweden, wherever Sweden is.
Thank you Montclair, for being a wonderful town and for your great hosts!
I don’t know when. I don’t know where. But I know we will meet again.
Love you all!
